The
"first of its kind" used record outlet in the southeastern
United States, Wuxtry propped open its doors on the main corner
of downtown Athens in 1976. Since then Wuxtry Athens as expanded
to include the larger storefront next door and Bizarro Wuxtry upstairs.
The store has been described as part museum and part hip record
store. On any given day, local musicians, students and tourists
pass through our doors as do many Athenians seeking special orders
ranging from classic jazz and classical recordings to the best in
international releases. |
